All four victims were walking out of the store when they were confronted by six suspected gang members - four males and two females, officials said.

One of the gang members shot at the victims with a handgun before the six suspects fled west on Washington.

All of the victims were taken to a hospital, where two of the victims were pronounced dead, the Sheriff's Department reported.

The other two victims were shot in the stomach and were in stable condition.
