Marchers honor anti-war protest

Churches difficult to reach by phone

Two out of five Protestant churches fail to respond to telephone inquiries, even if a person calls several times, according to a new study reported Saturday.

The study, released by the Ventura-based Barna Research Group, found that of the churches that don't respond, 44 percent don't even have answering machines. The study surveyed 3,764 Protestant churches.
