Richie Woodhall Richie Woodhall (born April 17, 1968) is a former English super-middleweight boxer. He lost his last fight to his friend Joe Calzaghe in 2000, and subsequently retired in 2002.  retained the WBC WBC white blood cell; see leukocyte.

Catley said Woodhall told him before the judges' decisions were announced that he'd lost the crown. ``He came over to me and said `You've got the fight.' ''

Military, ridden by Corey Nakatani and carrying 113 pounds, was 1-1/4 lengths ahead of Cloud Forest at the wire and paid $2.60 to show.

Following Cloud Forest across the finish line in the 59th running of the race for 3-year-olds and up were Dowty and Crystal Hearted. Amerique was scratched.

Robbie Davis, a late replacement for injured Mike Smith, rode 9-1 shot Lucky Roberto to a one-length victory in the $200,000 Hopeful Stakes for 2-year-olds at Saratoga in New York New York, state, United States
