BRIEFLY : WOMAN, 64, KILLED IN LANCASTER CRASH.LANCASTER - A 64-year-old woman was killed Tuesday after a car she was riding in made a left turn in front of another vehicle and was hit broadside, sheriff's officials said. Virgenmina Matthews was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital where she died from her injuries. Deputies said her husband, Clarence Matthews, 66, of Lancaster made a left turn onto Valley Central Way from westbound Lancaster Boulevard. Matthews' 1988 Honda Accord was hit by an eastbound 1993 Toyota pickup truck driven by Jeffrey York, 42, of Lancaster, then spun into a 1988 Toyota Camry driven by Mary Spaccarelli of Lancaster.
