THOUSAND OAKS - Los Robles Robles is a common surname in the Spanish language meaning oaks, and may refer to:

 Regional Medical Center is looking for volunteers to spend time with patients at the hospital.

Volunteers would interact directly with patients and their families, and positions are open in all areas of the hospital, including the emergency room, the ICU/CCU waiting room, surgical floors, and labor and delivery.

Los Robles will hold a program orientation from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Monday in Classrooms A and B on the main floor of the hospital, 215 W. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.

 officials will hold a public open house and review the draft environmental impact report Tuesday for the planned conversion of Camarillo State Hospital into the campus of California State University, Channel Islands California State University, Channel Islands (CSUCI) is a university located in Camarillo, California, in California's Ventura County. CSUCI opened in 2002 as the twenty-third campus in the California State University system, succeeding the Ventura County branch campus of .

The open house will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the public meeting to review the EIR EIR n. popular acronym for environmental impact report, required by many states as part of the application to a county or city for approval of a land development or project.
