Joanna Hayes Joanna Dove Hayes (born December 23, 1976) is an American runner, who won the gold medal in the Women's 100m Hurdles at the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens.

Currently coaches Track and Field and Cross-Country Running at Brentwood School in Los Angeles, California.
 won two hurdles titles and Suzy Powell won her second conference crown in as many days Sunday as UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles

UCLA's women scored 189.5 points and won 10 of 18 events during the two-day meet.

Hayes won the 400-meter hurdles and defended her conference title in the 100 hurdles.

Powell, the nation's top-ranked discus thrower, won the discus after winning the javelin Saturday.

Jerome Davis Jerome Davis (December 2, 1891-October 1979) was a labor organizer and sociologist. Early in his life he campaigned to reduce the workweek, and as an advocate of organized labor.  defended his conference title in the 400 and ran on both of Southern California's victorious 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams as the Trojans edged UCLA 145-138 for the men's team championship.

USC An abbreviation for U.S. Code.  won its first men's championship since winning the final Pac-8 meet in 1978, though that title was later removed because the Trojans had used ineligible athletes.

UCLA's Andrea Anderson won the 200 and finished second in the 400 to teammate Darlene Malco, who defended her conference title.

Anderson, Hayes and Malco ran on UCLA's championship 4x100-meter relay team, and Hayes and Malco also ran on the Bruins' victorious 4x400-meter relay team. Malco ran anchor in both events.

Grazyna Penc of USC won both the women's 800 meters and 1,500 meters.

Arizona's Amy Skieresz set a meet record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:44.91 after winning the 3,000 meters Saturday.
