BRIEFLY : TWO MEN ARRESTED ON COCAINE CHARGES.


VENTURA - The Ventura County Sheriff's Department The Ventura County Sheriff's Department (VCSD) provides law enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Ventura County, California, USA, as well as several cities within the county. The cities that VCSD serves are Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks.  Narcotics narcotics n. 1) techinically, drugs which dull the senses. 2) a popular generic term for drugs which cannot be legally possessed, sold, or transported except for medicinal uses for which a physician or dentist's prescription is required.  Unit arrested two men Friday night on suspicion of possessing cocaine, ending a 2-month-long investigation.

Juan Luis Orozco, 18, of Fillmore, and Alejandro Razo, 24, of Meiners Oaks, were arrested in the 700 block of Ventura Street at 8:55 p.m., when narcotic detectives found them with four ounces of cocaine, officials said.

Later, while serving a search warrant on their homes, authorities found a half-pound of cocaine, worth about $22,000, and $6,300 in cash.
