WEST HOLLYWOOD West Hollywood

A community of southern California northeast of Beverly Hills. It is mainly residential. Population: 36,600.
 - Two men suspected of beating a man to death in Texas were arrested in West Hollywood, but a third suspect - also believed to be in the Southland - remained at large Sunday, police said.

The arrested suspects were identified as Rayan Hanson, 24, and David Ludwick, 23, said a Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  police detective.

The men were taken into custody Saturday afternoon at two different homes in West Hollywood and were held without bail, police said.

Hanson, Ludwick and a third man, Christopher Kotaska, 22, are suspected of robbing and fatally beating Austin, Texas, resident John Cavness, 43, on Jan. 17 after he brought them to his home from a bar in Austin.

Two Austin homicide detectives and one Texas Ranger accompanied Los Angeles police and FBI agents during the arrests.

Detectives said they recovered property belonging to Cavness from both men.

SANTA PAULA - A security guard was stabbed to death early Sunday as he tried to break up a fight between customers at a nightclub.

Heriberto Dominguez, 50, was working as a security guard at the Frontier Club about 12:50 a.m. when he tried to intervene in a fight between patrons, said Craig Stevens Craig Stevens is the name of several people including:

Dominguez was stabbed once in the chest and the wound pierced his heart, Stevens said. He was pronounced dead at 1:12 a.m. at Santa Paula Hospital Santa Paula Hospital (SPH) is a hospital in Santa Paula, California, USA. The hospital is a campus of the Ventura County Medical Center. SPH has 145 full-time employees, 30 shared patient beds, and 19 private patient rooms[1]. .

Rock climber tumbles off Point Fermin cliff

SAN PEDRO - A 24-year-old rock climber fell from a cliff at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro on Sunday, suffering a head injury and a possible broken leg, a city fire spokesman said.

The accident happened just before 4 p.m. in the 700 block of Paseo Del Mar Del Mar is the name of several places in the United States of America:
  • Del Mar, California
  • Del Mar, Texas
  • Del Mar High School, located in San Jose, California
  • Del Mar Racetrack, located in Del Mar, California
, said Los Angeles fire spokesman Bob Collis.

It was unclear how far the man fell.

He was taken to Los Angeles County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is a hospital located within the city of Torrance, California, USA. The hospital was founded in 1946, and is funded by Los Angeles County

Harbor-UCLA serves as the Level I Trauma Center for the South Bay area.
