PALMDALE - Palmdale Disposal will collect Christmas trees Christmas tree

Police identify man killed in car crash

PALMDALE - The man killed Saturday when a car ran off 10th Street West and crashed near Avenue N-8 has been identified as John Shane Malvin, 22, of Palmdale.

Palmdale knife fight leaves two men hurt

PALMDALE - One man was cut on the hand and another in the side Friday evening in a knife fight that stemmed from an argument in a 10th Place East apartment between one man's girlfriend and the other's niece, deputies said.

A helicopter was called in to transport the 37-year-old man who had been cut in the side, but paramedics waved it off after deciding the wound was not serious enough to require a flight to a trauma center trauma center
