1 hurt in house fire started by candle

GLENDALE - An unattended candle started a fire early Saturday that caused $95,000 in damage to a house on Jesse Avenue, a Glendale Fire Department spokesman said.

Firefighters arrived around 12:30 a.m. to find flames shooting through the center of the house, in the 200 block of Jesse Avenue.

One person was treated for minor burns in the blaze.

Relationships topic of college workshop

GLENDALE - A workshop on ``Making Work Relationships Work'' will be held Wednesday at Glendale Community College Glendale Community College can refer to one of two colleges in the United States.
