BRIEFLY : TEEN-AGER ARRESTED IN DOUBLE STABBING.PALMDALE - A Palmdale teen-ager suspected in a June 27 double stabbing was arrested Tuesday at a relative's home, deputies said. The boy was arrested about noon at a house in the 3300 block of East Avenue Q-1 by deputies from the Partners Against Crime and Youth Crime Task Force units. Deputies arrested three other people at the house: a 15-year-old girl who had been listed as a runaway for two years; Teresa Herrera, 36, of Palmdale, wanted on an outstanding warrant; and Jose Manuel Flores, 23, of Panorama City, wanted on a patrol violation. The boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Deputies believe he was one of four assailants who attacked two young men outside an apartment in the 200 block of East Avenue R. Ninety minutes after the stabbing, deputies arrested the ex-boyfriend of a woman one of the victims had been visiting. - Daily News |
