BRIEFLY : SUSPECTS CRASH PARTY, SHOOT MAN.NORTH HOLLYWOOD - One man was shot Sunday when gunfire erupted at a home in which suspected gang members crashed a party, police said. Police said the gang members were angry because they had been asked to leave. The 26-year-old victim, whose name was not available, was shot in the torso and taken to Northridge Medical Center, according to Los Angeles Police Sgt. Woody Iddhi of the North Hollywood station. Police arrested 21-year-old Michael Alex Sepulveda of North Hollywood on suspicion of attempted murder, LAPD spokesman Michael Partain said. Sepulveda was being held in lieu of $500,000 bail. The suspected gang members crashed the party in the 7900 block of Beck Avenue about 2:30 a.m., Iddhi said. They ``got upset and got into an argument, hitting and kicking victims,'' Iddhi said. One of the alleged gang members fired two shots at a party guest. The victim's condition was not available. SOURCE: Daily News Officers seek hit-run driver GLENDALE - Police searched Sunday for a suspect in the hit-and-run death of a Glendale man. Officers said Delfino Juarez Morales, 34, was killed in crosswalk at about 1:50 a.m. Witnesses said they saw a black Toyota Supra, driven by a woman, hit the pedestrian in an intersection at Cypress Street and Glendale Avenue, Glendale Police Lt. Stephen Campbell said. Detectives traced the license plate to a Glendale area address, but were unable to locate the driver, Campbell said. The raid at a home near Fulcher Avenue and Tiara Street involved FBI and Immigration and Naturalization Service agents, said Los Angeles police spokesman Mike Partain. Partain said that the case involved a man who allegedly kidnapped a 15-year-old girl and attempted to extort $2,000 from her mother in Houston.
