The Simi Valley Police Department The Simi Valley Police Department (SVPD) is the police department of the city of Simi Valley, California. The department currently has over 120 sworn officers, and more than 65 support personnel[1]. The department has a patrol area that covers over 39 square miles.  will hold its annual department meeting and training session from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  Boys & Girls Club Girls Club is a 2002 American television series created by David E. Kelley, who was also it's producer and executive producer. Only two out of a total of thirteen episodes created were broadcast on Fox Television in the United States and Global Television in Canada. .

During the meeting, which is closed to the public, police services will be provided by the Ventura County Sheriff's Department The Ventura County Sheriff's Department (VCSD) provides law enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Ventura County, California, USA, as well as several cities within the county. The cities that VCSD serves are Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks. . Calls for service will be handled in the usual manner and the Simi Valley Police Station will be staffed.

Police personnel will resume their regular duties at 2 p.m.

Deputies arrest suspect on tip in drug dealing

OXNARD - An Oxnard man was arrested Monday on suspicion of selling cocaine and heroin by Ventura County deputies and police from Oxnard and Port Hueneme Port Hueneme (wī'nē`mē), city (1990 pop. 20,319), Ventura co., S Calif., on the Pacific coast; founded 1870, inc. 1948. It has an artificial deep-sea harbor and is the site of a huge naval construction-battalion (Seabee) center.  who were acting on an anonymous tip.

Victor Tovar Ramos, 35, was apprehended about 11:30 a.m. in a parking lot at Saviers and Pleasant Valley roads. Law enforcement authorities had obtained search warrants for his home, car and person.

At his apartment located in the 900 block of West Gonzalez Road in Oxnard, authorities found 12 packets of heroin and four packets of cocaine inside a briefcase, officials said. A loaded 9 mm handgun was also found in Ramos' bedroom. During a strip search, authorities found two more packets of heroin and three packets of cocaine in his underwear, according to police reports.

Ramos was arrested on suspicion of transporting drugs, possession of heroin and cocaine for sale and possession of a firearm while in possession of narcotics narcotics n. 1) techinically, drugs which dull the senses. 2) a popular generic term for drugs which cannot be legally possessed, sold, or transported except for medicinal uses for which a physician or dentist's prescription is required. . He was booked in Ventura County Jail with bail set at $20,000.
