BRIEFLY : SEMINAR TO SUPPORT CAREGIVER FAMILIES.


VALENCIA - Members of Aid Association for Lutherans in Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  will sponsor a seminar Oct. 24 for those who are caring for aging parents or ill relatives.

The program will be held at 10 a.m. in the community room at the Valencia Town Center.

Representatives of the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  Senior Center, the Henry Mayo Newhall Adult Day Care program and other home support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  will be available to answer questions.

CROP Walk to raise funds to end hunger

VALENCIA - The Santa Clarita Valley Interfaith Council will sponsor a walk Sunday to raise money to fight global hunger.

The CROP - Communities Reaching out to People - Walk will begin at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church General
Our Lady’s church was designed by a Catholic Priest Fr Benedict Williamson. It is a masterpiece of light and space. Its soaring classical columns and Romanesque arches give it a height and grandeur that make it look deceptively large.
 in Newhall and follow a five-mile route before ending at the same church.
