BRIEFLY : REGION TO RECEIVE CONSERVANCY VOICE.The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy is an agency of the state of California in the United States founded in 1979 and dedicated to the acquisition of land in the Santa Susana and Santa Monica Mountains and the Simi Hills, north and west of Los Angeles, for preservation as open Advisory Council will be expanded to include representatives of Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and La Canada Flintridge under legislation signed into law by Gov. Gray Davis. Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Malibu and Calabasas also will be able to appoint their own representatives. In all, the advisory committee will be expanded from 17 to 23 members.
