Glendale-Burbank rail plan submitted

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority board has received various proposals to finance a commuter rail project in the Los Angeles-Glendale-Burbank area, it was announced Thursday.

The ``alternate rail technology'' project is one of several the board will consider next spring for transit corridors around Los Angeles.
