Three high school players made oral commitments over the weekend to play football at Cal State Northridge.

Seaside High of Monterey running back-linebacker Isaac Gardner, Carlsbad linebacker Pieter Keus and Esperanza of Anaheim lineman Jake Ashabraner said they would become Matadors.

Gardner is the younger brother Wiki is aware of the following uses of "'Younger Brother":

  • Younger Brother (Trinity House) - a title within the British organisation, Trinity House
 of Northridge freshman defensive lineman Erik Gardner. Isaac was a member of the All-Monterey Bay Tri-County team and was Seaside's Most Valuable Player. He rushed for more than 800 yards, scored 11 touchdowns and made 124 tackles with six sacks his senior year.

``It will be weird and fun playing with my brother,'' Isaac said. ``I like the school and my brother seems to like it, too.''

Keus, 6-foot-1 and 226 pounds, was an honorable mention Avocado League selection and also received the school's coaches award.

Ashabraner, 6-3, 300, was named to the All-Sunset League team.
