NORTHRIDGE - Seven people were hospitalized following a three-car crash that tied up rush-hour traffic around Tampa Avenue and Lassen Street Wednesday night, police said.

 pilot gets 2 years' probation

MALIBU - A helicopter pilot charged with flying too low over the Barbra Streisand-James Brolin wedding pleaded no contest Wednesday to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to two years' probation.

Malibu Municipal Court Judge Lawrence Mira also ordered Robert Butler to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.

The judge grounded Butler for 30 consecutive days.
