Frank Nobilo Frank Ivan Joseph Nobilo (born on May 14, 1960) is a professional golfer and current analyst for The Golf Channel's Champions Tour coverage. He is of Croat origin.

Nobilo was born in Auckland, New Zealand.

Nobilo overtook third-round leader Scott Hoch Scott Mabon Hoch (born November 24, 1955) is an American golfer, who represented his country in the Ryder Cup in 1997 and 2002.

Hoch was born in Raleigh, North Carolina.
 with a 15-foot birdie putt on the 13th hole. He stretched the lead to two shots when he sank a 5-footer for another birdie at No. 14. His lead swelled to the final margin of four shots when Hoch took a double bogey-6 on the 17th.

Langer was born in Anhausen near Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. He turned professional in 1976 and has won many events in Europe and the United States, among them The Masters in 1985 and
 won for the first time in 13 months, carding a 6-under-par 65 to win the $500,000 Dunhill Masters in Hong Kong by two strokes over South Korean Kang Wook-soon.

Thomas Enqvist of Sweden, his serve whistling as high as 125 mph, beat French Open champion Yevgeny Kafelnikov 6-2, 6-4, 7-5 to capture the Paris Open for

the biggest payday of his career. ``I felt like I couldn't lose,'' Enqvist said. ``I was kind of playing out of my mind. I was in a zone today.''

Jana Novotna had no sooner ended Jennifer Capriati's bid for her first tournament win in nearly four years when she all but apologized for remarks she'd made about her opponent's comeback. ``I have been too critical in the beginning. I think you are on the right track and I wish you the best,'' Novotna told Capriati minutes after capturing the Ameritech Cup in Chicago 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.

Boston College officials met behind closed doors most of the day as rumors swirled around campus about possible illegal gambling activity involving members of the school's football team. On Saturday night, Boston College athletic director Chet Gladchuk announced that the school had started an investigation and asked for the Middlesex District Attorney's assistance.
