High school seniors of the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  are invited to join an evening of neon bowling with friends, food and fun from 11:30 tonight to 2 a.m. at Valencia Lanes, 23700 Lyons Ave., Newhall.

`Y' announces date for soap-box derby

 Trailblazers will hold a Soap Box Derby The Soap Box Derby also called coaster car race[1] is a youth soapbox car racing program which has been run nationally since 1934. World Championship finals are held each July at Derby Downs in Akron, Ohio.  from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Valencia Commerce Center. Judging will begin at 1 p.m. Trophies will be awarded for the top three finishes for Coolest Car, Fastest Car and Best Driver. The event is free but spectators are advised to have money for the hot dogs and drinks.

Take either the Golden State Freeway The Golden State Freeway is a north-south freeway running through Kern County and Los Angeles County, California. Originally built as U.S. Highway 99, it was re-signed as Interstate 5 in 1964.  to Hasley Canyon, exit and head west. Turn right on Witherspoon Way, left on Avenue Paine to Avenue Livingston.
