The NBA won its lawsuit with Motorola on Monday, when a New York judge ruled the electronics company ``engaged in unlawful conduct'' with its pager-like device that provides accounts of games.

Judge Loretta Preska, in her decision in U.S. District Court, said Motorola must stop using the hand-held pager, SportsTrax, which simulates action during NBA games.

The Vancouver Grizzlies waived veteran guard Byron Scott and signed free-agent point guard Lee Mayberry.
