The settlement calls for buying at least 50 buses to improve underserved areas.

The meeting will be in conference rooms C, D and E in the North 2 Building at the hospital complex at the corner of Roscoe Boulevard and Woodman Avenue.

 officer injured as motorcycle slips

A Los Angeles police officer was hospitalized with minor injuries Thursday after taking a spill on his motorcycle as he began to chase after a speeder near Universal City.
