BRIEFLY : MOORPARK TO TACKLE SPORTS, PARK ISSUE.MOORPARK - The Moorpark City Council is expected to consider how to solve the problem of having too many sports leagues A sports league is an organization that exists to provide a regulated competition for a number of people to compete in a specific sport. At its simplest, it may be a local group of amateur athletes who form teams among themselves and compete on weekends; at its most complex, it can needing space at Arroyo Vista Community Park. Among the plans to be discussed tonight is spending more than $14,000 to draw up designs to complete the 69-acre facility - which was built to about 35 acres, but left unfinished for lack of funds.
