VENTURA - A Westlake Village man has been ordered to pay $7,775 in fines and restitution after he pleaded guilty to trying to dump medical waste in a commercial trash bin, the Ventura County District Attorney's Office announced.

Timothy J. McGrath, 38, was also sentenced to 36 months' probation after he pleaded guilty to trying to dump 50 pounds of expired veterinary pharmaceuticals in a trash bin at a Westlake Village office complex, said Deputy District Attorney Mitch Disney.
