BRIEFLY : MANAGER OF PIRU'S MARINA FOUND DEAD.LAKE PIRU Lake Piru is a lake located in Los Padres National Forest in Ventura County and was created by the construction in 1955 of the Santa Felicia Dam on Piru Creek which is a tributary of the Santa Clara River. - A man who managed Lake Piru Marina for 16 years was found drowned in the lake Monday morning. The body of Arthur Caldara, 61, was found by divers for Ventura County Sheriff's Department The Ventura County Sheriff's Department (VCSD) provides law enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Ventura County, California, USA, as well as several cities within the county. The cities that VCSD serves are Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks. at about 11 a.m., submerged in water near boats docked at the marina. Mitch Breese, Ventura County deputy coroner, said that while the cause of death will not be determined until after an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday, he suspected Caldara drowned Sunday afternoon.
