BRIEFLY : MAN SURVIVES ATTACK IN HIS NEWHALL HOME.


NEWHALL - A 32-year-old man was in stable condition after he was stabbed by an acquaintance in his own home, sheriff's officials said.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was stabbed in the upper body shortly before 2:50 a.m. Sunday in the 24800 block of Walnut Street A number of streets are named Walnut Street:
  • Walnut Street (Harrisburg)
  • Walnut Street (Philadelphia)
Walnut Street may also refer to:
  • Walnut Street Bridge
  • Walnut Street (NJT station), in Montclair, New Jersey

``We found the victim stabbed and covered in blood,'' said Lt. Daniel Castillo. ``He was transported to the hospital.''

An investigation is continuing.

7 men arrested in forest shooting

While deputies approached three of the men at their camp, they heard shots.
