PALMDALE - Antelope Valley Mall The Antelope Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Palmdale, California.

Opened in September, 1990, its buildings take up around 1 million square feet (90,000 m²). Its physical main building, parking lots, and ring road businesses encompass an area a bit less than 0.
 will hosting the musical revue ``Salute to America'' from 5 to 6 p.m. July 10, 17 and 24 in the mall's Oasis Food Court.

Residents aid police in gun-theft arrests

PALMDALE - Concerned residents helped lead to the arrest of three juveniles Friday in a firearms theft case, officials said.

The juveniles, whose names were not released, were taken to Challenger Memorial Hall where they are being held without bail.

Authorities responded to a burglary report in the 100 block of East Avenue P-2. While on the scene, one resident spotted three youths carrying a rifle in a camouflage gun case.

Authorities followed the three boys, ages 17, 16 and 15, to a house in the 200 block of East Avenue P-4. The youths were taken into custody after another resident advised authorities of their location inside the house, officials said.

Police recovered a .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol, a .38-caliber revolver, a 12-gauge shotgun and an AK-47 semiautomatic rifle.
