BRIEFLY : LAUSD BOARD VOTES TO BOOST ARTS FUNDS.


The Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Unified School board voted unanimously Tuesday to pour an additional $4.7 million into the district's arts education programs for the coming school year.
