BRIEFLY : HOSPITAL TREATS BOY WHO BROKE LEG IN FALL.


A 4-year-old boy who broke his leg in a fall in Panorama City Friday was being treated at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , a Fire Department spokesman said.

Girl hit by vehicle suffers minor injury

Council OKs study on `smart sewers'

`Green power' plan attracts customers

About 20,000 customers have signed up for the Department of Water and Power's ``Green Power for a Green L.A.'' program, which relies on solar, wind and geothermal resources, officials said Friday.

Customers who sign up for the program receive two compact fluorescent light bulbs initially and another two bulbs in six months, as well as a home energy survey CD-ROM CD-ROM: see compact disc.
