BRIEFLY : HIGHWAY 14 PILEUP INJURES 7 MOTORISTS.


A pileup involving as many as five vehicles on the Antelope Valley Freeway The Antelope Valley Freeway is a freeway in Los Angeles and Kern counties in southern California. Sunland collision leaves 2 injured

Hit-run driver sends toddler to hospital

A 2-year-old boy who wandered onto a North Hollywood street was injured by a hit-and-run driver Sunday afternoon, police said.

A man driving a red Camaro with a black rear bumper hit the boy, who suffered a fractured leg and facial cuts.

The incident occurred on Riverton Avenue, near Sherman Way at about 1:20 p.m.

The child was airlifted to Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, said Officer Bill Mulvihill, of the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division.
