BRIEFLY : GROUP FACES ISSUES OF PROSTATE CANCER.


GLENDALE - A support group for men who have or have had prostate cancer prostate cancer, cancer originating in the prostate gland. Prostate cancer is the leading malignancy in men in the United States and is second only to lung cancer as a cause of cancer death in men.  meets the first Wednesday of each month at Glendale Memorial Hospital's Cancer Center.

The free sessions are from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Cancer Center Auditorium auditorium

BURBANK - Burbank's Retired Senior Volunteer Program is seeking volunteers 55 and older to answer phones in the city's Building Division.
