Cincinnati Reds owner Marge Schott has agreed to sell her Chevrolet-Geo dealership after being accused of faking car sales, a spokesman for Schott said.

Mike Horvath, general manager of the franchise, said Schott notified Chevrolet that she has been working with a local dealer since November to sell the franchise.

Schott will retain her other dealership, Schott Buick, which she has owned for 28 years, Horvath said.

Outfielder Mike Kingery, scheduled to be the Pittsburgh Pirates' third highest-paid player this season, was given his unconditional release.
