BRIEFLY : GETTY PARKING TIME LIMIT SET AT 2 HOURS.

People living near the popular, newly opened Getty Museum will be getting some relief from the crush of visitors with the City Council's approval Tuesday of a two-hour parking limit.

However, at the urging of Councilman Mike Feuer, who represents the area, residents and their guests will be exempt from the time limit.

Feuer's proposal drew complaints that he was trying to set up a preferential pref·er·en·tial

The affected area is bounded by Bel Terrace, Motego Drive, Acanto Place, Casiano Road, Moraga Drive and Bellagio Drive. Officials said they believe the situation will be resolved by February, when parking reservations will again be available.
