Coaches needed for Burbank sports

BURBANK - Men and women who want to help children acquire proper sports skills through positive team experiences are needed as volunteers to coach Burbank youth baseball, football, softball and volleyball leagues.

Volunteers are required to attend a coaches certification course. Leagues are scheduled from April through July for baseball and softball, and September through December for football and volleyball.

BURBANK - City officials are recruiting precinct election workers to help with the general election on April 13.

Inspectors will receive $55 and clerks $45 for their services on election day.

Brothers identified as victims of crash

EAGLE ROCK - Authorities on Thursday identified two brothers killed in a crash on the Ventura Freeway The Ventura Freeway is a freeway in southern California running from Ventura to Pasadena.
