At about 10:50 a.m., the suspects showed up with ``a large quantity of U.S. currency'' and were arrested, Bailey said.

Weather hampers plane search work

SAN ISABEL, Colo. - About 50 search-and-rescue members fought snow, rain and poor visibility as they worked Thursday to remove the bodies of three San Fernando Valley men killed when their plane crashed into a 12,000-foot mountain.

``All three victims were deceased,'' said Custer County sheriff's spokeswoman Paulette Gagnon. ``The evidence indicates that they were killed instantly.''

Giora Chalamish, 45, of Encino; Jacob Rahamin, 50, of Granada Hills; and Joseph Rosen, 66, of North Hollywood had flown to Denver on Saturday morning aboard a commercial airliner to pick up a Piper airplane Rosen and Rahamin had just bought.
