BRIEFLY : COLLISION WITH AUTO FATAL TO MOTORCYCLIST.


RESEDA - A Tarzana man died Saturday morning after his motorcycle ran into the side of a car, officials said.

Robert Cusano, 37, was heading north on Reseda Boulevard about 12:50 a.m. when he collided with a car making a left turn off Collins Street, said Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  police Officer Nagen Gast. The motorcycle had the right of way, Gast said.

Cusano was brought to Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from head and neck injuries. Gast said Cusano was wearing a helmet and that the driver of the car was not injured in·jure

Boy's status critical after fall into pool

VAN NUYS - A 3-year-old boy was listed in critical condition Saturday after he rode a toy vehicle into a Van Nuys pool, a Los Angeles Fire Department The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), also known as the Los Angeles City Fire Department to distinguish it from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. It is the agency that provides fire protection and emergency medical services for the city of Los Angeles.  spokesman said.

Detrell Williams was riding the toy shortly before 4 p.m. when he fell into the pool at an apartment complex in the 6900 block of Lennox Avenue, said spokesman Bob Collis.

The boy, who was submerged in the pool for four to five minutes, was unconscious and not breathing when paramedics arrived, Collis said.

Paramedics revived the boy and took him to Valley Presbyterian Hospital Presbyterian Hospital can refer to several places:

Grant to help finish center for disabled

RESEDA - The S. Therapeutic Living Centers serve blind children and adults who have multiple disabilities. The new, 9,000-square-foot structure includes a fitness center, a sensory library, family counseling areas, training facilities and other program and office spaces.
