BURBANK -- Burbank's Park and Recreation Department is offering ``A New You in a New Century,'' a three-week class instructing women 55 and older on makeover possibilities from clothes to hair and makeup makeup

The classes will cost $6 for three Saturday sessions: on Jan. 29, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12, all from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Joslyn Adult Center, 1301 West Olive Ave. in Burbank.

Operation Santa set to help children

GLENDALE - The Glendale Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Jaycees, and the Head Start Program will lead Operation Santa - a 15-year-old program that donates toys to children of low-income families in Glendale.

A gift-wrapping party will be held today at the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross.  Glendale-Crescenta Valley chapter and deliveries will be made Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m.

 Club seeks toys for kids

BURBANK - The Boys and Girls Club of Burbank/East Valley is hosting a toy drive and asking for action figures, music CDs, school supplies and clothes.

Toys can be dropped off at the clubhouse at 2244 N. Buena Vista St. in Burbank, or donors can call Norberto Oropez, Program Director, at (818) 842-9333 to make arrangements for toys to be picked up.
