BRIEFLY : CITY URGES RECYCLING OF OLD PHONE BOOKS.


MOORPARK - More than 7,300 outdated phone books were recycled in Moorpark last year, and residents and businesses are being encouraged to do the same as their new phone books arrive this spring.

Homeowners can place their old phone books in or alongside their curbside recycling containers. Condo and apartment residents can use newspaper recycling bins in their complexes, while businesses can use their mixed-paper bin.

Phone books also can be dropped in the recycling bin at the Monte Vista Monte Vista can refer to

Alcohol sales sting results in citations

SIMI VALLEY Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  - Sales clerks who sold alcoholic beverages to teen-age undercover decoys were cited by the Simi Valley Police Department The Simi Valley Police Department (SVPD) is the police department of the city of Simi Valley, California. The department currently has over 120 sworn officers, and more than 65 support personnel[1]. The department has a patrol area that covers over 39 square miles.  during a recent investigation.

The undercover decoys attempted to purchase alcoholic beverages at 66 retail establishments throughout Simi Valley on Feb. 20 and again Thursday. Sales were made to the minors at four locations: AM/PM AM/PM Amplitude Modulation/Phase Modulation
