A lawyer for a former aide suing Nate Holden for sexual harassment sexual harassment, in law, verbal or physical behavior of a sexual nature, aimed at a particular person or group of people, especially in the workplace or in academic or other institutional settings, that is actionable, as in tort or under equal-opportunity statutes.  said Thursday he will try to take sworn depositions from council members who served with the defendant at the time of the alleged incidents.

David Fertig, one of the attorneys representing ex-Holden Field Deputy Carla Cavalier, said the councilman's ``tendency to sexualize sex·u·al·ize

``And we believe the City Council kept it as their dirty little secret because they needed his vote on things,'' Fertig said.

He declined to say which council members would be deposed.

``We'll make the selection when the time is right,'' he said.

Holden has denied the allegations in the suit originally filed in February 1993.

His press deputy, Dana Sarbeck, said the councilman has only one comment on the Supreme Court decision affirming an appeals court ruling allowing the case to proceed.

``He said he's ready to go to trial,'' she said.
