BRIEFLY : CHARGES FILED OVER ROAD RAGE INCIDENT.


Criminal charges were filed Wednesday against a Tarzana man accused of punching a female motorist in the face and throwing her on the hood of her car during a road rage See Web rage.  incident in Encino.

James Earl Hamlin, 42, is to be arraigned Nov. 23 on one count each of battery and false imprisonment false imprisonment, complete restraint upon a person's liberty of movement without legal justification. Actual physical contact is not necessary; a show of authority or a threat of force is sufficient. The person falsely imprisoned may sue the offender for damages. .

Couple get 4 years in child abuse case
