``We've been pretty good up until now,'' said Red Cross spokeswoman Barbara Wilks. ``But donations are going down with so many people going on vacation and having more fun things to do.''

Wilks said the blood supply is considered low once it drops below 10,333 pints, or a 10-day supply for hospitals in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  and Orange counties. Cab company sues Snyder over advice

Councilman seeking helicopter curfew
