CAMARILLO - Two gunmen got away with an undisclosed amount of cash during a takeover robbery at American Commercial Bank American Commercial Bank was formed in 1957 from the merger of Commercial Financial Bank and American Trust Co., in Charlotte, North Carolina. Identity theft probe leads to an arrest

MOORPARK - A seven-month investigation has led to the arrest of a 52-year-old Moorpark woman on suspicion of identity theft, authorities said Thursday.

Benilda Olivo was arrested Wednesday and jailed in lieu of Instead of; in place of; in substitution of. It does not mean in addition to.  $80,000 bail.

Police began investigating when a woman reported that Olivo had obtained credit cards in the woman's name and racked up $40,000 in charges and cash advances.

Police later identified two other women in Los Angeles County who said Olivo befriended them and told them that she was a million-dollar lottery winner. She then told them that one of her relatives was ill and asked for a large loan, promising to pay it back with interest when her lottery winnings came through. The victims gave her a total of $60,000 but never heard from her again.

Reward is offered in school break-in

MOORPARK - Vandals broke into a classroom at Moorpark High School Moorpark High School, located in Moorpark, California, is a public high school in the Moorpark Unified School District and currently has an enrollment of 2,478 students.[1]  over the long Memorial Day weekend, taking a school cell phone, police said Thursday.
