One of the attacking dogs was seen, but not captured. Police described the dogs as possibly pit bull mixes, and one is black and white.

Donated food items still accumulating

OXNARD - Ventura County's food bank continued to receive food from Saturday night's ``Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat'' food drive.

The agency thought donations had peaked at 3,000 pounds Wednesday, but 1,000 pounds more arrived Thursday, said Susie Burmester, FOOD Share's food solicitor.
