Other police cruisers continued the chase to the 7800 block of Reseda Boulevard where the man was taken into custody after getting off the vehicle.

Car hits teen riding bike in N. Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD - A 15-year-old boy on a bicycle escaped serious injury Friday when he was struck by a car in North Hollywood, a fire department spokesperson said.

Worker falls 20 feet into excavation pit

MALIBU - A worker fell into an excavation area near Malibu Friday, suffering moderate injuries, authorities said.

Firefighters were sent to a Las Virgenes Water District facility at 731 N. Malibu Canyon Road around 11 a.m., where they found the man 20 feet below ground, county fire spokeswoman Charlotte Kramer said.
