BRIEFLY : ANTHRAX HOAX BRINGS THREAT OF LIFE TERM.


An accountant has been convicted of making a threat to use weapons of mass destruction Weapons that are capable of a high order of destruction and/or of being used in such a manner as to destroy large numbers of people. Motor-home crash leads to standoff

PEARBLOSSOM - A man with three children in a motor home rammed a patrol car Tuesday, then holed up for several hours along Pearblossom Highway, threatening to blow up the home, sheriff's officials said.

About two hours after the standoff began, the man let one child leave. Deputies were originally called to the motor home after the man made some kind of terrorist threats, deputies said.

Yaroslavsky urges funds to fix street
