PALMDALE - A motorist was critically injured when a van collided Wednesday with his pickup truck on Pearblossom Highway, officials said.

LANCASTER - Lancaster sheriff's deputies found a methamphetamine lab and arrested three people Tuesday after residents of the Sunny Skies Mobile Home Park reported smelling a strong chemical odor coming from a trailer.

At the same time, a merchant in the Rancho Vista shopping center told a patrol deputy that two juveniles had stole several items from his store. Two 15-year-old Palmdale residents were quickly apprehended on suspicion of burglarizing three locations that evening,deputies said. Both teens had prior arrest records and were taken to Challenger Memorial Youth Center in Lancaster.
