African-American and Latino inmates squared off at 6:17 p.m. Monday and fought with their fists, feet and jail-made knives, said Deputy Isaac Gonzalez.

Gonzalez said 13 inmates were treated for minor injuries in the jail clinic. 4 teens arrested in break-in case

CANYON COUNTRY - Sheriff's deputies responding to a burglary-in-progress call arrested four teen-agers in a Canyon Country home Tuesday.

Deputy Tony Miano said the four teens Four Teens is a Barbershop quartet that won the 1952 SPEBSQSA international competition.

 apparently knew the owners of the house in the 27000 block of Lansbrook Drive and that they entered the residence through a door or window about noon.

Deputies in patrol cars and helicopters circled the area almost immediately after receiving the call and the four were arrested, Miano said. Nothing was stolen.

Joshua and Justice Shomber, 18-year-old brothers, were held in lieu of Instead of; in place of; in substitution of. It does not mean in addition to.  $30,000 bail, Miano said. One of the teens was taken to Juvenile Hall in Sylmar, on suspicion of violating his parole parole (pərōl`), in criminal law, release from prison of a convict before the expiration of his term on condition that his activities be restricted and that he report regularly to an officer.  in an unrelated case, officials said.

A second teen was released to his parents, Miano said. The four are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
