TUCSON, Ariz. - Two Tucson, Ariz., men were arrested and charged with killing a Ventura man who authorities said came to Tucson to buy marijuana marijuana or marihuana, drug obtained from the flowering tops, stems, and leaves of the hemp plant, Cannabis sativa (see hemp) or C. indica; the latter species can withstand colder climates. .

Erik S. Maloney, 20, and Daniel P. Cordasco, 21, were in Pima County Jail on Thursday on first-degree murder charges. Bail was set at $1 million for each.

Sheriff's Department spokesman Deputy James Ogden said the men were arrested in connection with the death of Dietrich M. Bay, 24. His body was found in a shallow grave in May when railroad railroad or railway, form of transportation most commonly consisting of steel rails, called tracks, on which freight cars, passenger cars, and other rolling stock are drawn by one locomotive or more.  workers reported a blood trail and cartridge casings Ca´sings

Sources in California told investigators that Bay was supposed to return from Tucson on May 21 after meeting with Cordasco and Maloney, Ogden said. A couple of days before the body was discovered, Bay arrived in Tucson with up to $100,000, Ogden said.

``Evidently, he had made a couple trips to Tucson prior to that for the purpose of buying marijuana,'' he said.
