 for The Washington Post, will discuss factors that led to the 1992 Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Riots on Thursday at California State University, Northridge CSUN offers a variety of programs leading to bachelor's degrees in 61 fields and master's degrees in 42 fields. The university has over 150,000 alumni. It's also home to a summer musical theater/theater program known as TADW (TeenAge Drama Workshop) that leads teenagers through an .

Cannon will speak at 2:30 p.m. in the Grand Salon of the campus University Student Union, located at 1811 Nordhoff St. His appearance is part of the department of history's Valley Pioneer Lecture Series.

A former White House correspondent and Los Angeles bureau chief for the Post, Cannon recently published ``Official Negligence: How Rodney King and the Riots Changed Los Angeles and the LAPD 1. LAPD - Link Access Procedure on the D channel.

Fenton Avenue Charter School and its corporate partner GTE showed off a computer-packed and Internet-wired learning facility Tuesday after a breakfast to encourage other corporations and foundations to make contributions to the Lake View Terrace campus.

Guests at the first Corporate Partners Breakfast included representatives from Washington Mutual Inc., the Los Angeles Dodgers "Dodgers" and "Brooklyn Dodgers" redirect here. Water supply called sufficient until '10

The Metropolitan Water District will be able to fully meet Southern California's demands for imported water through 2010, even under the worst-case drought scenario, according to a status report presented Tuesday.

The confident tone of the report was attributed in the report to investments made by Southern California water agencies to develop alternative supplies, and augment local and imported resources.
