 Ybarra agreed to give a ride to a man and woman on Jan. 20 when the woman claimed to have a winning lottery ticket that could not be cashed in because she was an undocumented immigrant.

The man then called another man who said he was an attorney and advised that Ybarra could cash in the ticket for the woman, police said. He told Ybarra that she and the male should withdraw $25,000 from their accounts as good-faith money, and that they would be returned that amount and $5,000 for their trouble, police said.

After Ybarra withdrew funds, they were on the way to withdraw money from the man's bank when the group made a stop at a store, and the man and woman left with her money.

BOOSTER PLEADS GUILTY TO STEALING
